We share depth, joy and connection through music

Invisible No More co-writer Kay Hughes cared for her husband (Richard), who has Alzheimer's Disease, for 8 years at home.

Although they now live separately, and Richard no longer recognises Kay, she continues to love and care for him.

In 2020, Jon Leslie (producer, mixer, musician & co-writer of Invisible No More) offered  to support and mentor Kay, making it possible for this incredibly meaningful, beautiful album to be created.

Kay's performance of Invisible No More is a  sensitively powerful, heartfelt expression of love, dementia, intimacy, change,  playfulness, despair,  hope, and a call for us to remember "We Are One".

Kay  presents  "Life with Dementia" sessions with Bill Yeates, during which she performs  songs from Invisible No More.

New Song - Work of Art - inspired by Bill and his Tree

If you've seen our What's Bill Up To? page you'll know Bill Yeates continues to make incredible progress  with his swimming.

But there is more to life than swimming, more than a better functioning body. Bill has also developed a holistic approach to living well with dementia which rebuilds and nurtures his body, mind, heart and soul. Bill’s entire concept of ‘self’ has changed since he developed his holistic approach, his Tree of Awakening Your Positivity (Tree).

Bill is evolving with dementia. He is creative, dynamic and unique; Bill is a work of art.

Kay  & Jon's latest song,  Work of Art  is inspired by Bill, and his holistic approach to living well with dementia, his Tree.

Work of Art asks listeners to think about how they may respond if dementia comes to them and invites us to see ourselves as works of art, whether or not we experience dementia.

To celebrate the 4-year anniversary of the creation of Bill's Tree Kay & Jon are gifting “Work of Art”. They hope that it helps people to see it’s possible to live well with dementia, and - perhaps - see ourselves as works of art.
